DEMARTA VIRGINIO S.r.l. is a company engaged in the production and worldwide distribution of orthopedic products and medical equipment.
In particular, it specializes in aids for the prevention of pressure ulcers and the safe handling and transfer of patients.
The company was founded in Turin in 1912, thanks to the vision of its founder, Virginio Demarta. His determination and dedication quickly led the company to become a leader in the orthopedic products market.

During the 1980s, the management activities carried out by Luigia Demarta and Giovanni Belletti were joined by their son, Virginio Belletti, now the current CEO, who succeeded in revolutionizing and expanding the company, giving it international visibility.
Today, Letizia Belletti and Francesco Belletti have joined the company, representing the fourth generation of the family. With renewed energy, and in line with the longstanding values of quality, reliability and service, we are committed to continuing our path of innovation and growth alongside our customers and partners in Italy and around the world.
Every day, the efforts of our team are rewarded by the trust of thousands of customers who choose products from our three lines: Devicare™, ScanMedicalEurope™, and Klinigel™.
The experience gained over more than 100 years has allowed us to evolve while remaining faithful to our roots, focused on product quality and end-user satisfaction.
We have a corporate quality system certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001 since 1997 and UNI EN ISO 13485 since 2006.
All our products are tested and verified before being placed on the market, in accordance with European MDR 2017/745 regulations, and are registered in the Italian Ministry of Health’s Medical Device Database.
